Bill have a good idea,but since every doctors handle different amount of patient,doctor who handle faster patient on the mailbox should be given an extra bonus for his/her concern to the lazy patient who only can give a phone call for there own disease

if the means of Physicians answering service is freeing some doctor time so that the doctor could dedicate their energy into heal more people”it seems the only people who fit for the job should be college student or pre-doctor who know at least about how to diagnose patient question

I totaly agree with you. More training is the most importaint thing, I think. It would be realy great if all hospitals would start using this. The life of doctors and patiends would significantly improve.

I think the voice mail box would be very helpful to the whole medical field, since multiple doctors can hear exactly what a patient is saying and respond to it and then confirm with the other doctors. I like this idea.

Actually, I was thinking that people are delighted if their doctor calls and asks about the progress of their treatment. Most folks are flattered by personal attention. So, another professional can do that: call, inform, and give further advice.

This is all about productivity. There are physician’s tasks which can be delegated so that the physician concerned can focus more on immediate medical tasks.

Does anyone know of a good medical answering service. I was referred to Xound Telexom, medical answering services as a good provider, but I’m trying to compare to some others as well.

Thanks for your posting, I agree Medical Answering services are not only a luxury for people, are now very important for anyone like me, a doctor that uses now a day these sort of services.
